How to live to be 100

National Geographic writer Dan Buettner, embarked on a quest to find and study world's communities whose elders live with vim and vigor to record-setting age.His team discovered 4 common denominators in all of these communities. I found it amazing to see how the American lifestyle is completely opposite from these life prolonging habits. Here they are...

1. They move naturally- no exercising, but they walk everywhere and constantly move.
2. Right outlook- They take time to slow down and have a sense of purpose in their lives
3. Eat wisely- lots of greens and beans and less meats. They also drink wine moderately and eat the right portions.
4.Connect- loved ones first always, they have many close friends and they belong to a faith based community.
