My heart broke as I saw the horrifying images of the devastation in Haiti. Not only is Haiti one of the poorest countries in the world, but now faces one of the worst natural disasters in its history. I urge you to extend a helping hand by doing one of the following:
• Text "Haiti" to 90999. A $10 donation will automatically go to the Red Cross
• Donate online at www.unicefusa.org/haitiquake
• Many hospitals and medical centers were destroyed. Donate to Doctors Without Borders at http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/.
• Haitian native Wyclef Jean organized the "Yele campaign." Text "Yele" to 501501 to donate $5.
